Rules

You will need to pick six players from the list below, 2 batsmen, 2 all-rounders and 2 bowlers. The total value of your team must be at least 17.

Points are scored as follows:

Appearance 2 points

Batting

Every 10 runs 1 point

Every 50 runs 3 bonus points

Duck (except bowlers) -1 point

Bowling

Every wicket 2 points

Every three wickets 3 bonus points

Fielding/Wicketkeeping

Every catch/stumping 2 points

NB Run out 0 points

Points will be scored in all Saturday League matches. Points do not count for abandoned games, as per the League rules. In the event of any unforeseen circumstances my decision will be final.

It is £5 per team entered. The winner of the competition will be the person whose team scores the most points. In the event of a tie then the winner will be the person with the higher score going into the final week. The prizes will be £50 for the winner, £30 for 2^nd place and £10 for 3^rd place.

Email me your team selection, from the players listed below. Please include:

· A team name;

· Your player selections.

Teams must be registered by the Saturday morning before the first league game (3 May). Let me have your £5 as soon as possible. Given the effort and time that will go into running this competition, I expect players, wives, girlfriends, children, friends and parents to participate.
