Alan Hyatt

Alan is a ECB Level II coach and has been a volunteer at the club since 1999. Born in Birmingham in 1946and raised in Kings Heath attending Colmore Primary and Lordswood Technical schools. Joined the GPO in 1962 as a trainee and worked in Telephone House installing exchange equipment. Joined the CEGB in 1980 to work at the Grid Control Centre in West Heath as a Telecommunications System Engineer, taking early retirement in 2001. Alan married Jane in 1966 and they raised two daughters and now have a 6 year old grandson. A cricketer from school days Alan progressed to captain his work's team, Central, and play for the Civil Service Lyndworth and Thimblemill. He is captain of the club's 3rd XI and also plays for Central.. Alan's interest in coaching began when helping  Jane with the Colmore School team and now coaches with Warwickshire at Edgbaston and in local schools. He is also Treasurer for the South Birmingham Cricket Board. When not coaching, playing or watching cricket (following the Bears) he plays table tennis in the Bromsgrove league, supports the Bullets Basketball team, and dabbles in computing. He is also a Level 2 basketball coach.

Keith Millard

Keith is an ECB Level II Coach and has been associated with KHCC since 1999, initially as an interested parent (son Stuart plays for the Club) and then as a volunteer coach. Born (1959) and bred in Brum, having lived in Acocks Green and Northfield, he now lives in Kings Heath, with his wife Mary and three teenage children. Educated at Acocks Green and Severne Road  Primary schools, then King Edwards Camp Hill. On leaving school, Keith joined the NHS, starting in operating theatres, but since 1982 in the Ambulance Service. He became a Paramedic in 1989 and is now operational from Bristol Road Ambulance Station, Keith now plays his cricket with Central CC and makes occasional appearances in KHCC 3rds. He enjoys (sometimes!) chasing a tennis ball or shuttlecock around, and occasionally has "a good walk spoiled" - golf. Walking/rambling often features as a pastime; but by far his favourite is reading novels!

George Greaves

George is an ECB Level I coach and has been a volunteer since 2002. Born in Barbados in 1953 in the parish of St Lucy he was educated at St.Clement's primary and Mrs.Phillip's schools. He began by playing beach and street cricket, and went on to represent St. Lucy's schoolboys. Moving to England in 1970 he soon met his wife, Linda, and they set up home in Birmingham. George began playing his cricket in the Parks League for Claremont CC but was soon "spotted" and joined Edgbaston Unity where he still plays regular Sunday games. Well known for having played on every ground you can think of, but unable to find his way to any of them. George and Linda have four children. Tyrone represented Birmingham Schools at cricket, and youngest son Jerome plays for Kings Heath. George also plays table tennis, snooker and enjoys swimming. He has an allotment to tend in his spare time where he can sample the good life.

Martin Gouder

Martin is an ECB Level I coach and has been a volunteer at Kings Heath since 1999. .Born in Sliema in Malta
he came to England in 1958 and settled in Leicester then moved to Birmingham in 1972 to train as a teacher. He is now a senior teacher for a mentoring project in Sparkbrook & Sparkhill working in 22 primary schools. He met his wife Sharon in 1977 and they married in October 2001.
Martin hated cricket until he started coaching it to young children in Aston. He now loves the sport but admits he can't bat to save his life. He is an avid Leicester City fan, and also enjoys walking and visiting historical buildings, quiz nights , crosswords, Suduko and reading history books about Egypt.

Oliver O'Brien

Olly has the ECB Introductory Coaching Certificate, and has been an assistant coach at the club since 2004, having originally joined the club as a player. He was born in 1988, and has lived in Moseley all his life, and was educated at King Edward's School, where was captain of the 3rd XI. . He started playing for Kings Heath 3rds in 2003, and has played once for the 2nd team. Olly is now reading War Studies at King’s College London.

He is an avid cricket watcher and spends most of his summer holiday and study time watching cricket at Edgbaston and Lords. Also he watches his brother, Henry who is at the club, in most of his junior matches and has been known to score for the under 13s on occasion. He goes caving, where he claims to  having twice come close to killing himself, and when he’s not inside the limestone hills he enjoys walking across them. At school he was in the Navy cadets and enjoys sailing and kayaking, as well as shouting at people.
